Hi all, Yes, we are finally arrived in the new country, Brunei Darussalam. The journey was way to long for all of us. We've worn out when we reached Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) on Thur's afternoon. With all hectic packing (the entire universe), with 19 boxes, 6 silver waterproof, 15 brown, 1 clear and 3 fragile selotapes - we've managed to do the shipping, cleaned and moved out of the house @ 4am (1/12/2009)! Yusuff didnt even say goodbye to the house as everything was moving so fast! It broke my heart everytime when Yusuff talks about home, "Yusuff's hat at home, mummy get it" (as the weather is so hot and sunny here) or "Yusuff get ready to go didu's (grandma) or kakak's house" or just simply " Yusuff's going home - Yusuff's house" I miss home. I miss Lynton Avenue. I miss you guys already - Jetlag still on, im off to bed! We've moved from this view and weather to this view and weather.... Taste of formula
Marcus has his first taste of formula milk (FM). Started with Similac stage 2. Haha... i have free samples. After finihsing these 3 400g tins, will move on to Stage 3. Hope he likes FM. After 14.5 months, he's drinking something else. Have finally made the decision to wean Marcus off my boobs. I have stopped pumping and only latching Marcus at bedtime. The stock of frozen breast milk in the freezer finally cleared. I can now stock up on ice-cream. Haha... It's bitter sweet... soon... i'll be weaning Marcus off completely. Will definately miss these bonding sessions. Breastfeeding has been a breeze for me. I do hope we remain as close. But... i definately dun want Marcus to only look as me as his source of food. Looks like soon, i'll have to be carrying FM and bottles around. Extra weight, bigger bag. Hope my #2 comes along soon after i wean Marcus off completely. Have a few friends who are already expecting their #2. Oh where... soon i hope.
